Haute’s mission is to provide NDU’s employees and their guests with the freshest food. We actively seek out partnerships with local, regional and national producers who are dedicated to a stewardship of the land. Our food revolves around a simple phrase – “simply the best.”

We want our guests to experience the “best” ingredients in a “simple” experience that allows them to not only taste the freshness, but also feel it as well.

We began catering at NDU in January 2009. Haute saw a vision, originated a catering strategy, and implemented it from start to finish. We provide a variety of food options for the workers and visitors of NDU. The menu is derived from our philosophy of farm fresh, wholesome, quality food at an affordable price.

Our catering has many food selections, which include grab and go, self serve, made to order, and fully balanced lunch specials. We provide catering at NDU five days a week, with a monthly menu available so you can plan your lunch days in advance. We strive to match available products during the peak of their season with our eclectic and diverse menus to create a renewed interest in farm-fresh food.

The chefs are required to follow their products back to their origin and eliminate all unnecessary tracks along the way. We believe that everyone benefits by knowing more about the source of the food they eat, and we understand the journey of our products from seed to harvest, and from farm to table.

Everyone has an impact on our Earth. At NDU, we have made a commitment to use products that reduce the environmental footprint of our industry. A majority of the products we use at NDU are made from post-consumer recycled materials, which help lower our carbon production and allow us to manage our daily waste – everything from cups and paper products to biodegradable trash bags. We strive to do our part by following the basic principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle.

We provide all those who visit NDU with a positive and fresh experience and strive to alter the vision of cafeteria dining for the future.
